Customers are saying

Customers have good things to say about the controller's build quality, adjustable triggers, helpful paddles, and comfortable grip. Many appreciate its lightweight design and ease of use, along with the extensive customization options. However, some customers reported issues with stick drift and battery life, while others found the back buttons to be less than ideal and the warranty period too short. The price point was also a factor in some negative feedback.

Probably one of the best controllers. I just don’t like the fact it takes regular batteries for $200+. Functions great but not being able to recharge for that price is a deal breaker for me. Now buttons don’t get jammed. And that’s something I haven’t found in any controller. If this controller was chargeable I’d rank it 1

I prefer the feel of this controller over the Elite Series 2. However, the back buttons take some getting used to. Some may prefer paddles but the buttons on this controller work extremely well and are comfortable once you get used to them. The instant trigger feel nice but aren’t game changing unless you plan to repeatedly click them.

Its a solid controller with a good weight and feel. It has some cool features but overall its really overpriced and after using it prefer the elite 2 xbox which is cheaper and comes with a case and inter changeable features. This only gives u a battery, cheap plastic sticks and a cord. I used a gift card to get it other wise i wouldnt have gotten it . I do like the interchangeable face plates that is cool

It’s a comfortable, overall good controller. Extreme lack of customization for the controller compared to the PlayStation version which seems poorly planned on the companies side. The left and right sticks have an extremely sharp jump in response from the delay (and again, there’s no way to customize this). This means if you’re looking for this controller for fast-paced fps games, be mindful that the delay can be jarring and increase difficulty with micro movements. The price is a little high especially considering the points listed earlier. Overall, I give it 3 stars, good, clean looking, comfortable controller; but they clearly did the bare minimum here.

Ive been using this controller for the past 2 months and its been amazing. No stick drift. The controller is really light compared to the microsoft pro controller. The only con is it burns through batteries like crazy.

    Great Performance, Uncomfortable Paddles

The SCUF controller is very responsive and performs well in-game. The build quality feels solid, and the buttons are quick and precise. However, compared to the Xbox Elite controller and other similar models, the paddle design is a drawback. Instead of being elevated, the paddles sit inside the controller, making them less comfortable to press—especially for someone with decent-sized hands. The positioning requires more effort to activate, which can be frustrating during extended gameplay. Overall, it’s a great controller, but the paddle design could be improved for better ergonomics.

After using it for a year i would say it is worth getting the controller. it holds and you can customize your back button on how you want it. And change the front cover if you like. The grip feels good when you're holding it. You're less likely to sweat if you have sweaty hands after playing all day lol. Yes its a little pricey but compared to the other controllers I've use, id recommend this one. but if you want to go for a cheaper route I'd go with turtle beach stealth ultra if you want to save a couple bucks. not a lot but you save some lol.

Finally Found a Reliable Controller Alternative!

I was a longtime Xbox Elite controller enthusiast - the first generation was fantastic. However, I went through TWO newer Elite controllers that both developed terrible stick drift issues, which was incredibly frustrating. After switching to this SCUF controller, I'm pleased to report: ✅ Zero stick drift- the main reason I made the switch ✅ Better ergonomics- the rear button placement is much more comfortable for smaller hands like mine ✅Solid build quality- feels durable and well-made Pros: - No stick drift problems (unlike my Elite controllers) - Improved button placement for smaller hands - Reliable performance - Great alternative to Xbox Elite series Cons: - None identified so far Bottom Line: If you're experiencing stick drift with Xbox Elite controllers or have smaller hands, this SCUF controller is an excellent upgrade. Highly recommended! Would I buy this again? Absolutely yes.

I love the controller, it feels better than the elite Series 2, which is prone to stick drift, and you can use it fr any game on pc, it feels better, grip wise, it’s got a heavier feeling to it, like it’s made of metal

I did lots of research before getting this, I have the elite2 and wanted to try this mainly for the back control. If I’m playing an FPS I’m quicker with the elite paddles (use all 4). If you haven’t used a premium controller this one seems like it would be easier to convert from standard than the elite. I was going to only keep one and was sure the elite 2 would be going back, but I’m keeping both. I like the elite 2 for FPS when I need every single advantage. But the scuf is awesome as well. Scuff feels way better in hand, both elite 2 and scuf triggers very good. Obviously what’s best controller is subjective

I prefer the elite 2 as it has a better layout for the back buttons. However if you havent already trained yourself to jse the Elite controller layout I could see this layout being advantageous. Finally an aftermarket controller for Xbox that is actually wireless. Seems to be quality and is far liter than the elite controller. I had a little bit of an issue with a sticky trigger that eventually worked itself out after breaking in but otherwise a good piece of kit.

Its an amazing controller. Found a work around to using the offical Xbox dongle with my Steam Deck. It feels great, the antifriction rings are awesome. If only it had Hall sticks and a rechargeable battery. I understand some people that use high end controllers dont care about the battery. I do, the elite series 2 with everything is $179. This controller feels better, but you are getting more bang for the buck with the elite.

Is a really solid controller. I found it really solid in build quality, but I have a few things to say about it. I’ve owned this controller for about 1.5 months and I can say is a great competitive controller for some games. I play COD as a casual player and found that the back paddles are decent at best, how they are positioned is not of my personal likings but they actuate fast and they’re tactile (which is what I like). Buttons are the traditional Xbox Buttons and they feel great. The triggers I have a mixed feeling, the short distance mode in the triggers feels heavy, you really have to go a little hard when pressing the triggers (personally not what I like compared to other controllers I’ve tried from this brand and other brands as well). I haven’t experienced any stick drift or ghost input which is great because this brand is known for having that issue but so far so good. I do recommend the controller for someone that wants to get into competitive controllers that are starting to play competitively in the e-sports scene, but if you want something better go with another brand.

SCUF products are a little over priced but i find this controller GREAT if your looking to only use the paddles 1 way and not trying to flick/press "up". If you have smaller fingers, you may have issues utilizing the paddles as well. The grip, quality and customization though are awesome and i do recommend this controller.

I loved the remote and that you can go from regular triggers to mouse click triggers. I love playing so many different video games but when I get competitive this remote comes in handy with the mouse clicks and paddles which feel so comfortable. 10/10 remote. I have a Scuf remote for my PS5 so it was only right to buy one for my Xbox! :)
