I love how the controller feels. Has no stick drift. Like the fat that you can change different face plate cover. It has faster response time. Like the fact you can change the trigger layout mouse a mouse click to a full pull. This is an all around best controller I have invested

I love the additional features and the grip feels comfortable, I mostly use it to play Rocket League and I feel the quicker response as my game has improved as well, it is on the high end in price i switched to this controller from a standard Xbox Series X controller though expensive i do love this controller

Excellent controller. Seamlessly integrates with PC. Textured grips became discolored after a 6 months. Stick drift developed after 8 and I had to return after a year due to stick drift being unbearable. Rear buttons are great, but two of them on the inner handle were hard for me to reliably access without interfering with the analogue sticks. Overall, was an incredible feeling controller with reliable rear buttons, but stick drift developing after only a year at this price point was not acceptable.

From the moment you pick up the SCUF Instinct Pro, it feels like a premium piece of hardware. The rubberized grip and solid build quality immediately give a sense of durability and comfort, setting the stage for an enhanced gaming experience. The four paddles on the back are intriguing, offering a promise of improved gameplay with customizable input options. The Instant Trigger functionality, which mimics the sensation of a mouse click, significantly enhances performance in shooting games. The difference is especially noticeable when engaging in rapid fire or burst fire modes

Amazing controller until it isn’t. Expect the same stickdrift you’d find on a standard Microsoft controller. The modules are the same, as are many of the parts on this controller. Get the extended warranty. My stickdrift didn’t start until tye warranty had just passed, so now I’m stuck paying for a repair of their quality issue. To be clear, it was never dropped, bumped, manhandled, or even roughly used. I pretty much only play one game, and I’m not a “gamer”, I’m a casual PUBG player, and it still went to crap. Gonna just buy Xbox controllers from now on. I’d rather throw away a controller that costs $50, instead of having a $270 controller need $50 or more In repair costs.

Good build quality. Overall i like it. The thumbsticks are sturdy and not loose like the elite, which is the reason i needed to seek out a different controller. The elite i had to set the deadzone to 12-15(i returned it). These ones i needed to put the deadzone to 5 and 6. Hence the 4 stars. My $30 controller can have the deadzone at 0, but it has no buttons.

First off, it’s great. From the matte finish/grip to the paddles. You can change the face of it too!! Dpad and analogs or swappable. It’s a great controller. Pretty easy using the paddles, mapping them and switching the modes. Great controller!!

For a $200 product I was expecting to have a rechargeable battery pack but instead it only came with batteries and a cartridge that weren’t rechargeable. Build quality is good and responsive if you run into input delay it’s typically the game you are playing such as Cod, you need to go in settings and set the dead zone to 0

Overally great controller. The face plate is wearing down, so the pattern is almost completely worn away on palms. Sticks still feel good, great response times.

    My favorite Xbox controller

This is my second scuff controller for my Xbox series X. I know they’re a bit expensive but i believe they are completely worth it. The build quality is excellent, the buttons have never gotten sticky or stuck for me. The triggers also have never gotten sticky the way oem controllers do. The joysticks are just loose enough to feel smooth. The customizable faceplates are a nice bonus. I never really use the back paddles or the trigger stop switch but they are very nice to have. I prefer the design of these back paddles because they stay out of the way until I need to use them. I rarely accidentally hit the back paddle buttons with my fingers. I honestly have no complaints about this controller. The only reason I bought another is because I gave my other scuff controller to my nephew.

Is a really solid controller. I found it really solid in build quality, but I have a few things to say about it. I’ve owned this controller for about 1.5 months and I can say is a great competitive controller for some games. I play COD as a casual player and found that the back paddles are decent at best, how they are positioned is not of my personal likings but they actuate fast and they’re tactile (which is what I like). Buttons are the traditional Xbox Buttons and they feel great. The triggers I have a mixed feeling, the short distance mode in the triggers feels heavy, you really have to go a little hard when pressing the triggers (personally not what I like compared to other controllers I’ve tried from this brand and other brands as well). I haven’t experienced any stick drift or ghost input which is great because this brand is known for having that issue but so far so good. I do recommend the controller for someone that wants to get into competitive controllers that are starting to play competitively in the e-sports scene, but if you want something better go with another brand.

Expensive, major design flaws and poor quality.

I’ve been a SCUF customer since 2013, when I bought my first 4 paddle SCUF One. I’m a 45 years old father, husband and business owner; spending free time in the cold Minnesota winters gaming with my kids and friends. Through the years; I’ve had good experiences with SCUF, recommending them to almost everyone, but now the brand is tarnished. It’s disappointing to refer someone to your products, hear their issue and then experience them myself after years of loyalty. On December 8th, 2021 I purchased the SCUF Instinct Pro, following my purchase of a high powered gaming PC. I customized this controller to match my PC set up, spending exactly $270.84. My initial experience was positive. The paddles were placed in comfortable locations, the sticks were tight and accurate and the quality “seemed” on-par with my past experiences with SCUF. On April 10th, 2022 my SCUF Instinct “Pro” stopped me mid-match, the P1 paddle wasn’t clicking just 5 months after purchase. Initially I thought the internal button was defective; but upon closer inspection and comparing it to the P4 paddle I noticed the casing was seamlessly incorporated into the paddle. The casing had cracked where any reasonable would expect, at the hinge point. Luckily, I was able to continue playing in the early, cold, wet and thawing spring of 22, because my 12yo son plays most games on keyboard and mouse. When we first bought him a gaming PC we included an Elite Series II controller, as that’s what he wanted , even when I suggested a SCUF. Without this other controller I wouldn’t have been able to keep playing. I’ve spent 10 years playing on SCUF and I cannot even play anymore with forward facing buttons. SCUF honored the warranty, but required a spectrum of procedures to create an RMA. Our correspondence continued for a couple weeks before creating a repair ticket, sending a UPS label and eventually repairing. I got the controller back on 6/7/22. With summer in full swing I do not game. I coach baseball for my 2 sons, competitively fish, prospect for new clients, maintain two cabins up north, maintain hunting land, bird hunt and archery hunt. After the firearm hunting season I start gaming again in early December. When I started gaming in the fall of 2022 I was excited to start using my SCUF, considering it hadn’t been used since its return. To my amazement, the controller was pushing my view in Rocket League vertically high. This happened right after I updated NVIDIA drivers, so I though that did something to the control inputs. Unfortunately; the issue ultimately stemmed from the right analog stick. This baffled me considering the right analog stick is barely ever used in Rocket League and that’s the game I play 90% of the time. When I responded to SCUF updating them on the transgression of the controller I hadn’t used in 5 months they said “Based on the information provided to us, we determined that your SCUF is out of warranty.” Disappointed to say the least!!! The last party to extensively touch my controller was SCUF. At this point; I was looking around to find other options; Hex, Razer, Power A and Evil were all suggested by some of my friends, but the Elite controller seemed to be the best option if I decided to abandon SCUF. Absorbing another $250 expense to make myself whole seemed stubborn. Eventually I decided to roll-the-dice on the repair ticket. This was ridiculous because SCUF wouldn’t quote a repair cost for their defective products outside warranty. This process started with me initiating USPS shipping for $15, waiting weeks (17days) for an update regarding what repairs needed to be made. To this day I do not know what they fixed? A PayPal invoice was emailed to me without an itemized repair schedule (service-repair-tier-3-xbox?) and a cost of $69.99 on January, 28th. With my son nagging me to return his controller for Rocket League I bit the bullet and paid to expedite the process. After payment was made; not a single update to the RMA was available online. After 18 days an email appeared “Thank you for your patience during the repair for your SCUF. We’re happy to share that your SCUF is being shipped back to you.”. The controller finally made it’s way back on February 17th via UPS. On February, 26th (last night) the same P1 button cracked again in the exact same location as it did on April, 10th 2022. This controller is no longer functioning after 10 days, 10 hours of play time, months away from me and without use all last summer. SCUF created a design flaw and has not addressed it to date, mistreated my property during warranty repair causing it to malfunction upon it’s first use back, charged me for it and now it broke again in the same location. SCUF left me sitting with a useless device I spent $355.83 on. I do not recommend.

      Hello Cory,

Very unfortunate with all the issues you've had, feel free to reach out to our team again to see if there's anything further that can be done but unfortunately a product out of warranty would be hard to help with if the issue is physical.
