Best you can buy yes it cost the most but it is the best Be nice to it and it has a decent life span. Can’t wait for Scuf to upgrade buttons and sticks too Tactle and Hall Effect when they do this do not raise the price and they would have the only controller on the Planet you should purchase. Save your money and go buy a SCUF

So far it’s held up better than the elite 2 controller. The x butting and left bumper just stopped working on that. Love the rubber grips and thumb stick feel

It is a nice controller, but the audience that they try to tend to with a specialized controller like this with paddles, I would say are more serious gamers because of the price tag and the functionality of having back buttons for quicker reaction times dexterity use things like that, but I would not recommend I’ve been through four or five controllers. This is not Best Buy‘s fault it’s just Scuf sticks are terrible and get stick drift really really bad really easily. I even had one out of the few that I bought and returned to have stick drift right out of the box. For them not to have a complete overhaul of controllers with Hali effect sticks is beyond me how they’re just coming out with one in 2025. They came out with the valor pro, which has Hall effect sticks, but it is wired personally I like wired, but I know a lot of people I would just not recommend. If you’re a semi serious gamer who plays more Xbox than probably five hours a week I suggest getting another controller.

Great controller. I still get some drift, but definitely not as bad. I just wish i could turn off the underneath buttons, because I hit them on accident at times.

Between the Xbox elite controller , battle beaver , scuff I would say is great . The new digital triggers the new paddles system is really well put together for the most part . A few stick drift issues but being a total tech member it’s been taken care of without a hassle . Great controller after all is said and done

SCUF Instinct Pro - $230 Nightmare Experience Ordered an Instinct Pro for my Xbox as a Happy Birthday to me present in September. Mid October, the right bumper could no longer be pressed down. I submitted a ticket, but ended up being able to resolve the problem on my own. I noticed a small magnet located under the bumper has worked its way out of its housing and was blocking the bumper. Pushed it back into place with tweezers and was good to go. Disappointing for such an expensive controller, but whatever. I replied to support and told them they can cancel the ticket. The very next day, the left stick started to drift severely. 40%+ up and down. I replied again and reopened the ticket. In that email, I explained to Sharon that I had a TERRIBLE experience with Microsoft where I had similar issues with an Elite Series 2 and ended up having to send it in 3 times for repair. The first time due to drift, the second time because the repair technician made an error and the controller would randomly power off, the third time because the drift returned. All within a month. I basically begged her to help me not go through the same mess again. She was professional and ASSURED me I would be well taken care of. Confident, I mailed the controller to them. Two weeks later I received the controller back. Excited, I unpack it, plug it in and….what the heck….the same exact problem….I don’t even have to leave the main menu to notice it. Controller scrolls up or down on its own. Open the controller tester app and sure enough, drifting up and down 40%+. here we go again… I email back and one of the things I pointed out and asked was “Your email stated "We've diagnosed, repaired, and thoroughly tested your SCUF". I want to know what the diagnosis was, what the repair was, and how exactly the controller was tested. As you can see in the video I have attached, the problem still exists, is blatant, and very easy to replicate.” I received no answer to either of those questions and was given the generic, send it back and will fix it again spiel. I was told to write ATTN: GABY on the label and box so an RMA Lead could handle the repair. I do so and ship the controller back. I waited another 10 days and received the controller back. Again excited, opened the box and immediately noticed something weird. Something golden was peaking out of the controller housing at the bottom of the controller. I then realized it was a ribbon cable. They had pinched the ribbon cable in the housing while putting it back together…..this caused light from the led to leak out the bottom of the controller, prevented the controller housing from closing all the way making it feel weird in the hand, and caused the faceplate to flop around. And this was supposedly a product of the RMA Lead… I email Sharon again and am told the same thing as before. Send it back in for repair and she’ll ask that I get a new controller instead of a repair but can’t guarantee it and to again write ATTN: GABY. Frustrated, I told her that I would not go without the controller any longer and will not be sending it back. The controller is usable, even if the experience is extremely sub par, especially for the price paid. THE VERY NEXT DAY, the right rear bumper button breaks and falls off during a Rocket League tournament……the controller is less than 3 months old and I baby it. No beating or banging, goes into a controller base after each use, etc. I have since emailed Sharon back and now have no choice but to send the controller back and go without, a third time. I’m extremely disappointed because after researching and dealing with other crappy controllers thought I had found a company that is geared towards gamers, is top of the line, and has great customer service. I was wrong.

Great product, but a few nitpicks. This controller should, in my opinion, come with battery recharging and have the option of swapping out joypad/thumbsticks like the microsoft elite controller series 2. With a price tag of $230, it should outclass the less expensive option. Otherwise this product is top quality in terms of build and use.

So far controller pretty awesome love the fact that you can change the shell and thumb stick to any play style. Only small con is that the paddle in the back might be kinda to close to each other so if you have big hands like me you might accidentally click them when you didn’t intend to. Overall tho awesome product loving it so far

Bought this after an old battlebeaver controller of mine started having issues. The price is definitely my least favorite part of this controller but the rear button layout is one of the best I’ve used. Most paddle systems for me, force me to play/hold my controller slightly different but this set up allows for just a comfortable grip and access to all face buttons using your middle fingers. Gave this 5/5 right now for ease of use, premium feel, rear button layout and the mouse click type triggers! Long term use is yet to be seen…
