Oh well, don’t bother buying if you do the subscription. Gameplay is charming and fun - the open seas are awesome and I like the character classes.

Best pirate game ever!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.As long as you understand what this game is going into it—that is, not a MMORPG where you can become the most powerful and face roll everything—and that you truly understand what a sandbox game is (What did we do in sandboxes? Whatever we wanted. We made our own fun with what we had), then this game is amazing. Rare was very transparent about all of this from the beginning and still is, so it should come as no surprise to anyone. If you have any imagination at all and you like to play with friends, this is a game for you. Try it out!

You probably have a pretty good crew to set sail with, but there are other options for finding some extra hands. There is, of course, the in-game matchmaking system, but other options would be Xbox Clubs and the Looking for Group feature available on Xbox and in the Xbox App!
