It's unfortunate because the gameplay systems here are solid and the graphics are among the best on this generation of consoles - the water effects in particular are stunning. But the quests are dull and the combat is very basic. Strongly suggest a rental before fully diving in.

A fail of a game.

For this reason, the game is useless to me. It's incredibly repetitive. You literally do the same thing a million times over and over again. It gets incredibly boring.

Rest assured, this won't be permanent, and Rare says that it hopes to deliver delayed achievements and turn achievements back on by the end of this week. Don't know if things have changed since I gave up - about a year ago. I know this is a game about pirates but, you run into lots of players who act like they want to play together and then kill you and steal everything. Don't waste your money.
