As open as it is, you'd think you'd be able to do more than chase chickens, pigs, kill skeletons and change your clothes. And other players can vote to lock you in the cell at the bottom of the ship and you cant get out, there's no limit from what I've read. You basically have to leave the game and hope your next group doesn't do the same. So far it has potential. Tons. But as of now its open nothingness.

If you're ever lonely out on the seas without your friends, you may want to look into joining a Sea of Thieves oriented Club or using the Looking For Group feature!

He was thrilled with the gift and so were his siblings. It seems they play it all the time, and enjoy the adventure nature of the game. Who doesn't want to be a pirate?!?!

I can't remember the last time that people are actually using voice chat and communicating while playing a game. The game itself is very simple, and there is not a lot of stuff to do in it, but what is in it works very well and is quite fun to play. This is a game that you sit down to play, and then 2 hours later you are going, "just one more mission". It's strangely pleasant and compelling to play. In any case, if you want something different for LIVE, you should check it out.

Rare has put much need love I to this game and it makes for a perfect game to play with your friends!

The side quest are very simple and multi player is the only way to go. If you play solo you will always be attacked by the multi player ships. There are in game purchases you can make with quest gold you earned but it's all just for looks no benefit in game from them. It's also very repetitive. Away first the game is funny but after a few hours it gets old.
