My hard drive bombed out in my PC. I'm a Geek Squad member (They Rock!!!) and this is the hard drive they recommended. So far, I've had no issues and it runs fast.

This Seagate drive is my third 1TB Seagate in as many years. Of the two I bought 3 years ago, one failed recently under heavy usage, but I am still more confident in Seagate than in other brands.

A no non-sense purchase of a hard drive for my computer. Geek squad was able to install it on the same day and I was back up and running in less then 24 hours!

My 16 year-old son is building his own PC. Purchased this item at a very good sale price. As soon as we get all the parts, we'll be able to tell how well it works.

I'm using this drive on a seagate thunderbolt dock and it gets about 150mbps read/write speeds. Much better than the seagate dockable externals which only get about half that speed.

I needed a DVR hard drive replacement to keep recording video cameras for a business when their hard drive went out. I was not sure if it would work at first but everything matched up perfect ( cables, screw holes, etc) so I gave it a try with no problems!

What does one really say about this? It's a hard drive… I plug it in, I formatted it, I copy my po'nography to it.

Bought it as a cheap drive for one of four drives in a Synology DS414. Hasn't had any problems so far. I'm cheap otherwise I'd probably buy NAS storage drives. The price here isn't that great, but I had a $75 certificate burning a hole in my pocket.

This replaced an aging ( 6 yrs ) Seagate 320. I've used WD hard drives before, and really cant tell the difference in performance between the two. Setup was as easy as 1 2 3.

great for pc gaming the 64 mb cache helps alot with the load a game might take. or any other process. also this is great for any type of computing.

Nothing wrong with the harddrive, but near endless frustration in getting it to work as a primary drive. Finally found an online post that showed how to use a command line entry to ignore an error that wasn't letting Windows install.

This was just what I needed after my hard drive started to connect after several restarts. This one made connection happen on first start up. It is working perfectly.

I had to rebuild a computer after its hard drive failed. I installed an SSD drive for the OS and this drive for storage. The PC is now better than new!

I bought this drive to load Windows 7 on my Vista computer. The Windows 7 setup saw the drive, setup my system as a dual boot and everything works great. No hassle setup.

The only glitch I had during install was the drive was not recognized because something in the bios had to be changed to turn the connector on. After I realized that was the issue, everything worked fine. Would definitely get another if needed.

My computer locked up on me so I took it to the geek squad. They were super helpful and replaced my hard drive and reinstalled all my software. I just love best buy

My husband works on computers and really like Seagate products and this hard drive is the best for quality and price.

I recently needed to replace my old hard drive after a year. It's hard to give a review since I recently purchased it but so far I have not had any problems.

The person in the Best Buy store helped me find this item fight away. I am very pleased with it. Good purchase at a good price. I would recommend it to anyone
