Wow microsoft needed to have done this 8 years ago when they designed xbox series x and s. So returning it mike defect was broken but getting another. That s why 4 stars.

was hesitant due to price but boy was I wrong. this is a fine piece of hardware that actually does what it is suppose to...fast loading, quick installs. A must for the next gen power...get it!

Super fast downloads on Xbox Series X. Don’t past this external drive unless you are jobless and have wait for downloads,.therefore go for.the cheapest expainsion drives. Love it!!

If you have the series S the 512GB is not enough. After everything is said and done you really only get ~360GB.

Before WD released their version of the expansion card, Seagate held the market share with their foray into supporting the Series S and X consoles. This 1TB variant is still much more expensive than buying a NVMe SSD for the PS5 (once you find the correct read/write speed) in the same size. I can’t help but be reminded of the unreasonable prices Sony charged for the PS Vita memory cards. Hopefully when other storage manufacturers begin to release their take onthe expansion card, the price will decrease significantly. Until then, find one on sale or invest in a SSD from Samsung

Works exactly as advertised. Plugged in and played. Wish the 2tb was this price but whatever.

This is a must have for your Series X. I ran out of space on the internal SSD and needed the external. Hopefully Microsoft comes out with a larger SSD soon! This is a little Pricey
