The Seagate Expansion Card for Xbox Series X|S is a must-have if you hate deleting games to make space. It’s ridiculously easy to use—just plug it in, and it works like the console’s internal storage, no slowdowns or extra steps. Load times stay fast, Quick Resume works perfectly, and you don’t have to shuffle games around. Yeah, it’s pricey, but if you want hassle-free extra storage that actually keeps up with your Xbox, it’s 100% worth it.

A necessary addition to your Xbox. Makes up for the huge storage size of games, and the minimal storage provided by devices. Allows you to play x/s games, unlike a traditional external drive.

I purchased this to give one of these a chance and to expand my internal drive. If you do not want to wait for transfer times or download times on games, this is a great storage option for X|S series games. The size is just right for about 5-6 of the larger games out and formats for more space than the internal drive since no OS is installed on this drive.

Great option for storage. So simple to use, just like an old fashioned memory card. A little pricy but worth it if you want to expand your library easily

Less than one month in, however it is working flawlessly. I will be glad when other size options are available, and I feel the price is a little high considering the cost of the entire console and other storage media pricing, so minus one star for this.
Very easy to use, just like a flash card reader.

The only reasons I give this product 4 stars is due to the price of the item is extremely high and when delivered the product box was still sealed but looked like it had been mauled my an ape… other than that I love the easy plug and play ability. I wish I could have gotten 2tb for this price but it is what it is. I keep an extensive library of games and having to transfer the games to my external drive and back all the time was very frustrating. Having the ability to have all my games ready to play is almost worth the price. It’s too bad that we are limited to only OEM products for SSDs to hold and play out games from. Hopefully by the time I need to add more space to my Series X, these will come down in price. No complaints about the product itself or how it functions

It might be the priciest way to add storage to your Xbox series Xbut I think it’s worth it. The Xbox series X comes with 1T but some of that is taken up by system files. This will add needed room as games are getting HUGH. You can add space other ways but this is the only solution that has no speed compromise. You get all the benefits built into the X Box Series X with the system accesses games on this expansion card.

A bit pricey, but definitely worth the cost. With the size of games these days, the XBOX's under 1 TB of storage is definitely n enough, especially if you want to fully utilize the hardware (that's why you bought the system, right?). This definitely helps with that. Of course, there are some series x games that don't really need to make much use of the hardware and for those, I use on of my other external drives. As for all the other series x games, this and the internal storage combined is definitely adequate. Just hoping we get some other size options soon.

As the games get bigger, so does the memory files for them. Adding another terabyte to the Xbox helps tremendously with storage issues, especially if you have game pass. The issue I was having with my old regular hard drive was I couldn’t play certain games that are optimized for the Xbox Series X without transferring them from the hard drive to the Xbox. With this new ssd card, I don’t have to transfer any games anymore so I could utilize the fast loading times and what the Xbox has to offer in general. I definitely recommend getting this if you do have the series X/S!

Convenient and effecient all in one package, save yourself the trouble and spend extra on getting this rather than using external Hard drives that cant run xbox series x games. Sttaight out the box it was easily transfersble for my other ganes and i can run them on it smoothly.

I finally caved and bought this on sale a few weeks ago. Much cheaper than it used to be. I plugged it into the back of my son's Series S, it gave me the option to use it solely for his console, or share the memory between our two Series S which are connected. All done. Still overpriced, but its plug and play. Quick and easy.

The Seagate Storage Expansion Card for the new Series S/X consoles absolutely works as advertised. It's plug and play and hot-swappable. Load it up with games, pull it out, go play on another console. Very slick and seamless.
It is pricey, but I'm not knocking it down a star for that because NVME SSD's with this kind of speed are all very expensive, $220 is right in the ballpark--decent in comparison. No gouging going on with the price--it's high, but fair. In fact, 8 months after getting a Series X, I'm buying a 2nd one today!
