I love this card, it makes gaming worth every penny if you want excellent performance. I had Division II on external drive and moved to this expansion and the frame rate increase made this game so much better. Yes, you could put on internal drive but it has limited space since most games are large and wanting that space for series x titles. Also playing multiple games and now able to use quick start is also huge plus.

Sleek product that is very simple to install. Runs quickly and does exactly what you want. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because the cost seems over the top to me.

I was hesitant about buying this for my XBox S. I had the 4TB hard drive and after putting all those Call of Duty games on I filled the internal SSD up fast. Game Pass is cool and most games played off the external HHD. Wasn’t long and I had to break down and get this. It made the XBox S almost perfect now! It plays seamless with the internal SSD. Once it comes out in 2TB will it be awesome

Recently bought a Xbox Series S and knew right away I would need more memory. Bought this expansion storage the same day. Plugs right inin and was recognized immediately. Load times are lightning quick. My only two wishes would be for a lower price point and then possibly having 2tb or larger cards available. As it is this 1tb card is only. $80 less than the Series S itself. Still a required item in my opinion.

"The Seagate Expansion Card for Xbox is a game-changer, literally! Tons of extra storage and super quick loading times. It's like giving your Xbox a superpower boost!"

Now I can play all my games and not have to keep moving games between my external hard drive and internal storage. Literal game changer. The original price was a no-go for me but now that WD came out with their offering, Seagate lowered their prices, finally.

This memory expansion is fantastic. Pairs really well with my Xbox series S. Right out of the gate, the price for this was, in my opinion, too high. Now that the cost has come down, it's s great option for Xbox series S users wanting to expand the storage.

I quickly found that the 512gb SSD in my Series S was insuffiecent for the amount and size of games I wanted to play, and so I started keeping an eyeball on this guy, and eventually made the purchase. It was super easy to install. I just plugged it in, chose a formatting option briefly, and voila now theres a new tb of space, highly recommend. Of note, most other external hard drives that you plug into a usb port arent going to have the same functionality as this, and will only be able to run some games off of them for reasons that still somewhat escape me. So if you want to run all the new famcy games this is your best bet

The storage expansion card, although pricy, is worth the invest for extra storage. Works well, easy to use, and games load quick. Really takes the Xbox Series S to the next level by enabling storage of more games.

Besides the obvious over pricing of this SSD, if you're primarily an Xbox gamer, you'll want to invest in this to keep yourself sane on having to consistently delete and download games.
Running out of memory is frustrating, especially if you have a big family and share the Xbox with siblings or kids. This helps you keep playing without any issue.
I wish the price was about $40-60 less, but I have no idea what the overhead is on these so what do I know. I do know these cost about 1/2 the price of a console, so that makes it pretty expensive in my book.

4 stars mainly for price, but at least the price isn't ONLY high because it's proprietary like the Xbox 360 add-on drives were. It's also high because it's a gen 4x2 NVMe drive. It's actually pretty well-priced when comparing to other NVMe drives. But, it could have probably hit that sub $200 price point.
Getting that out of the way, this expansion card works just like the internal storage of the Xbox Series S/X and allows you to play next gen games from it. The Xbox console will make a separate install location when inserting this into it. Also, make sure the console is on when inserting the expansion card into the console.
Includes a 3 year warranty, which is pretty awesome.

Stupid easy to use. Just remove from packaging and place in the proper slot on the back of Xbox Series X or Series S. Give it cool name.
I own a lot of games and subscribe to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. This extra drive makes it easy to keep all my games on hand and take full advantage of the Series X/S systems. It was worth the $$$ from my experience so far.
Go on and get it. You've bought dumber stuff before.

Couldn't be easier to use you open the box remove the plastic part covering the card put into your Xbox Series console and it's ready to go. $220 is a bit on the expensive side, but I was able to get 10% off the item through a BB promotion so under $200 I would recommend it. Series X games seem to run as fast on the card as from the internal SSD.

This is definitely a must (EXPENSIVE) have accessory for the Xbox Series X. One thing that I haven't really heard a lot people talk about that is great is the fact that when you add this to your Xbox it doesn't take away from your USB external storage at all so you can still use the whole 16TB 3.0 Max limit for old games + 2TB SSD storage for the current gen games. Works great and easy to install, I have no regrets
