Very fast obviously as it is an SSD card. I was surpassed how fast it is to move software internally to the card. Sometimes it slows down but even that is pretty fast considering the amount of data that is being moved. Plug right in and the Xbox recognizes it. If you need more storage this is a great step up if you can afford it. I am sure that are cheaper options but this was made with the Xbox in mind.

This is an awesome product. Maybe a little bit on the pricey side but it is plug and play. Less than a minute to plug in and then you instantly have 1TB more of space on your Xbox Series console. Highly recommend.

This is a great product for expanding storage on your Xbox. My son has the Xbox S and wanted more storage. This product actually expanded his storage to be more comparable to the Xbox X series. From what I read, just buying a storage device only stores the data and you have to load it every time you want to play the game. That is not the case with this product. It actually expands your storage capabilities on the device.

Precisely what is needed for a Series S if you're wanting more than 2 games installed at any time. If you have a Series X it only increases the potential in the size of your game library. Easy to use, plug into back of console and follow prompts to format.

You want more space for your games on your Series S|X? You want to be able to play those optimized games on your Series S|X?
Then this is your only option, for right now. You're definitely paying a premium for this drive, but it's the only option to expand your storage for S|X optimized games that need this drive to run.
Just stick it in the slot in the back of your Series S or X and you're good to go!

Really wish these things weren't so expensive after dropping $499 for a console, but I guess that's where we are headed. PS5 has even less storage. This card has a little over 900 gigs and more than doubles the series x storage. From what I have read this is slightly slower than the internal ssd, but if you aren't testing it with a stop watch I highly doubt anyone would be able to tell. Pretty cool Microsoft made a port and you don't have to take apart the console. With how huge games are getting, I highly recommend you save up and get one of these. I highly doubt another option is going to surface until after Microsoft has solved the console shortage issue.

I love it, and it helps so much, because now I have more storage, but the ssd for my series x is low, like one terabyte is low, for the price, but it does help with game performance from my time from using it

I love this thing, while very expensive the ability to plug it in and the thing just works is great. works like an old school memory card. you can even swap system and it carries everything over with no issues.

Additional storage for Xbox Series X. Works as advertised, you do still need about 2GB of space on your internal hard drive per game you want to install on the external but not a big deal.
I picked mine up about 2 weeks before the price drop and Best Buy refunded the difference when I contacted their support team for a price match.
I bought my series X when it launched and waited all this time to get additional storage. I just got to the point where I had games I knew I wasnt ready to uninstall and had more I wanted to add.

Yes, it’s expensive but it works flawlessly. Slides in perfectly to the design for a slot in the back of the Xbox series X in the system recognizes it immediately. No different than the internal drive.

I was forced into purchasing this, but I am glad I did. With next gen games being such massive downloads, this is a must have. Super easy (just plug into the back of your Series X and you are good to go).
