excellent storage add, much better than an external HD as far as space goes. i do find it a bit more $$ that i believe it should be

Works great, exactly as advertised. Plenty of extra room on my Xbox now and I'm not having to delete or transfer any of my games to install and/or run new games.

Its overpriced. I miss being able to plug in whatever external drive you wanted a use that as extra storage. Other then that, yea its a storage drive.

My stepson is a special-needs child and he just loves this product because he can put more space and hold more games and he just loves it

BIG NEED TO KNOWS: - 1TB = ~846GB of ACTUAL Storage -You CANNOT remote install onto Expansion (fix this) -You cannot remote manage expansion (fix this!) So this was really exciting purchase for me. I wanted so many GamePass Games and Valhalla, but I had no space. This allowed me to download and play the Series X|S versions without a problem. You probably already know this but, you cant actually do that with a regular ol External HardDrive, even if it’s USB3! I was SUPER skeptical about the write/read speeds, and I was right to be. It’s not as flash fast as the advertise and claim. Downloads are obviously dependent on your internet speed, but INSTALLS... well it’s nothing out of this world. and just as fast (maybe SLIGHTLY faster) than an External USB3 Harddrive. Whatre you paying for here? The privilege of installing next gen games. Truly. I will say the boot up/load times are much faster than any other external storage, so I suppose you’re also paying for that. The biggest bummer with this purchase was finding out you can’t remote install/manage that storage. Nobody talks about it easier. I read at least a dozen PROFESSIONAL articles about this item before purchasing and they all had the same old data to provide, which makes me wonder if they even tested/bought the product or they all just plagiarized from one another. Because no on touched on the small details like the ACTUAL storage or the setbacks from Xbox mobile app/Console companion (listed at start of review). If I had the ability to manage the expansion remotely, this would be a five star item. Lastly, I dont know that this is really a good VALUE (money vs perks), and I think I’ll wait before even considering another one of these (I’m actually waiting for more 3rd party expansions, which Microsoft promised). BUT if you’d like to take advantage of these perks, that the product offers, and you’re not too sure about dropping ~240$ on it (with tax) then I would recommend checking out QuadPay. That’s how I got this. I paid 60$ every two weeks, using quad pay, and it made the hit to my wallet, A LOT more bearable.

I would recommend the 1TB as a perfect middle ground for this expansion card. The 512GB is a bit small in my opinion, whereas the 2TB is more expensice than another Xbox Series S. Works perfectly for Series X|S enchanced or regular games.

Easy to use and works nice for my nephew. Literally just plug it in and set it as the download primary and you're good to go

Good, Fast Storage. A little too expensive for what you get but that’s my only complaint.

The storage was very much needed. I could only have a select few amount of games but with this i could download more of the higher storage games without worry. Get this item whenever you can.

Im very glad that i bought this 1tb for my xbox series s. It really helps when you want to play different games with family and friends without having to remove a few games just to download one game.

Plug into the Xbox series X and it work. Does what it is supposed to do. I gave it 4 star due to price and the lack of options

Excellent product, I can finally all my games, and play them at ease without having to keep redownloading when I run out of space!

Love this thing, uploading and downloading speeds match my Series X so there's no extra waiting for things to upload onto your system or download onto the drive just like having more internal storage straight on your system.

Only negative thing about this ssd is segate's Monopoly on them driving the price up to being unreasonable. I got this on sale on prime day for around $110, which is more appropriately priced.

Easy to use and seamless integration with my xbox makes this a great purchase. It is a bit pricey but it does help with managing storage.
