I didn't realized a lot of the game pass games needed to be on an internal drive to be played getting this allowed me to install more games so i coupd have a larger variety of games to choose from.

However after using Series X it became clear a lot of games actually have New Gen upgrades and therefor need to be on your SSD. The 1tb or rather the 800gb or so usable space fills up very quickly and you will be happy with the additional space. if you see this under $200 Id say get it.

The storage space is pretty decent especially if you do not want to utilize your systems storage data. I use this for games that are optimized for the Xbox and a additional storage device for other games. I just wish it had more than 1 Tb of data

Worth Every Penny

After having using these drives on my daughter's Series S and my Series X, I absoluty love them. This drive is the same as the internal drive on the Series S|X, so it has the same quick resume features. Im saving up to buy the 2TB model of this soon.

Reminds me of the memory cards from the original two PlayStations. Is that blasphemy to say about an XBox item?
