Terrible value, but convenient

These are normal, rather cheap M.2 SSDs that are placed in a proprietary adapter. These Seagate Expansion Cards are not top-of-the-line SSDs, A much faster 2TB PCI-E 4.0 x4 NVME From competitors comes in at 249$ here on bestbuy.com. You are paying effectively double for a slight convenience, solely due to a an agreement between Seagate and Microsoft. It's a shame because in nearly every other aspect Microsoft has been pro-consumer as of late.
