Since so many new games require being installed on the internal hd, this allows for more to be added without having to transfer from external storage.

Works great and runs fine with my xbox series x. Plenty of storage for me and easy to install and format. Works with backwards compatible games and xbox series x/s optimized games, which makes it a superb buy.

Be sure that your console has the latest software update before installing the Seagate SSD. I'm so glad I finally bought one of these. I wanted a 2TB SSD that I could play games from directly without any lag or having to swap game files between the internal memory to the external drive just to play. I love this thing! It turned my Xbox Series X into a 3TB gaming console and with some really big game hitting the market within the next year, I really want to be able to download games without compromise. You simply plug this into the back of the Xbox and it immediately recognizes the external drive and you can choose to make it the default place to store games if you want. Super simple and well made.

I was tired of only being able to download a few games on our 500 GB series S. I saw that these are able to boot series x/s games and decided to give it a try. I will say this device is amazing. I got the 2TB one and can now install all of mine and my kids games to have ready to play in an instant. This storage device also supports quick resume which is very nice as well! A little spendy when not on sale but if you play many games this is totally worth it.

After trying a 2TB external hard drive and then getting this 2TB expansion card, I’m happier with the expansion card. I can download games to the expansion card and they will play, some of the games I tried to download on the external hard drive would not play because it was not fast enough. I think it’s overpriced, but hopefully it’s all the extra storage space I’ll ever need.

Absolutely needed if you want to be able to keep lots of games on console. The only complaint is way overpriced for a memory card this is a wait for sale to buy.

Bought this for the XBox Series X I was able to get my hands on. Though expensive, it is the listed price everywhere. With tons of space for the games. Good deal really, as I can use it to not only store games, but run them off of it, too, instead of using up the space on the internal one. And I can take it with me to use on another machine if I wish.

With the increasingly larger size of games these days, the 512GB to 1TB storage that comes with game consoles is not enough if you want to have more than 5-10 AAA games installed at the same time. Having to uninstall and re-download games takes forever even on a 1Gb fiber connection. This is especially so if you have GamePass Ultimate and want to download a bunch of games to try out later on. I haven't noticed any decrease in game load times from titles stored on this.

More storage for games that take up tons of space, it does its job

Plug and play. Simple as that. Haven't had any issues. Touch pricy, but games are big these days and this will play series x games off of it. So eh.

Almost like having PS2 memory, it’s great, I no longer have to transfer games and if you really wanted to you could get more and have different games in them and swap them out as needed. Even then, if you need to transfer between internal storage and SSD, the transfer speeds are incredible, at around 5-10Gbps.

Easy plug-in external drive connects to built-in Xbox port and instantly expands Xbox memory. Seamlessly play games. Transfers data quickly. Expands the number of games that can be downloaded. Wish i would have bought this sooner, so i did not have to choose which games to delete to make space for the new releases.

With these new gen games that take so much storage and you can no longer use a USB for the Series X for Series X games, these expansions are a must have. Still pricey and only one vendor, i hope someday 3rd party will be able to produce these for a price battle.

Easy set up. Works as described. I have so much more space that I don’t even know what to do with.

Love this card plugs right in transfer is super simple my series x is running even better with the free space and i can stop transferring when i want to play a new game but dont have the space!!!

Plug and play and works well. Able to quick resume and hold a few games. Still use an additional HDD for added storage for older games. Pricey, so check for Black Friday or similar sales
