I removed the little card/drive from the package, plugged it into the back of the XBox Series X, turned on the XBox, and was able to start using it right away. I transferred a few games (about 40 to 50 GB each) from the internal drive to the expansion card/drive, and it was quick. I've played a couple of games optimized for Series X/S from the expansion card/drive seamlessly. I have so much more room to install my games without having to worry about deleting anything. It's definitely on the pricey side, but the speed of the game transfers and load screens more than make up for it. I have no regrets.

They finally dropped to price to something a little more reasonable, but still too high. The idea of paying the same amount for a 2 TB Expansion Cards for the same price as the system was ridiculous. Xbox and their proprietary storage systems is made to rip us off. That being said, this card is as fast as the internal storage and the 2TB card hold a decent amount of games. I bought a 1TB originally, but needed the 2TB to hold more games. At least they’re hot-swapable so I can use both. Wish MS put 2 slots on the X. Worth the money if you don’t like moving games back and forth to/from USB storage.

Fantastic SSD. It was exactly what I needed for my Xbox to be able to install all the games I play.

I couldn’t be happier with this expansion card. I bought a 2TB standard external HDD when I first got this console because the Seagate was too expensive when it launched. Now Western Digital has released their own Series X expansion card so Seagate was pretty much forced to lower their price point which is why I finally got it. Always prefer Seagate, they’ve never let me down in performance over the last 20 years.

Love how easy it is to use and I’ll never fill it up

10 out of 10 recommend for extra storage capacity!!! 2TB is plenty of space for so many different games. I have a ridiculous amount of games and I haven’t even used an entire terabyte yet. Extremely simple to install and use & love that it’s internal storage so you don’t have to redownload the games every time like you would for an external storage system.

Great addition to my Xbox series x. The new Xbox's do not work with externally hard drives like the previous models due to having a SSD, so this was my only option. And unfortunately, due to some of the software sizes (call of duty) I needed this a lot sooner than I was expecting. Works great, loads seemlessly

It works as advertised and is super easy to install. The extra storage is very welcome. Normally these are more than a little pricey, but I got mine at almost half off and couldn't be happier.

Bought this 2Tb seagate Xbox ssd expansion for my 2Tb series x to have plenty of storage for my games, because I can’t stand deleting and having to wait another 2 hours to reinstall a game to play it again! Easy a open package, plug in back of Xbox, turn it on, DONE!! Price hurts a little, but not as expensive as they once were and they will go down in price when tech advances a bit. One day we’ll have 4TB ssd expansions at the price of what the 2Tb is currently. Just a matter of time and letting tech advance and become cheaper! Very pleased with this expansion, and ITS JUST AS FAST as the internal SSD in the XBOX! It comes with a 1 month game pass ultimate code also. At least at the time I purchased mine, December 2024!

When utilized properly allows for a miriade of applications and larger games to load and play well with out dependace on a fast high bandwidth internet connection... Works well with my basic network cable modem setup through a Xbox X on a 50mb internet connection and a intranet with my Nas on a gigabit connection. Some times it's what you do with what you have. Contentment is a blessing.

The Seagate 2TB Internal Memory Card is the best memory card that’s made for the Xbox. It can be used in both Xbox S and the X. It is incredibly fast for saving progress and down-loading games to your hard drive i.e. with the internal memory card installed. I bought the 2TB Card and with the XBox X normal 1TB internal Memory plus with the SEAGATE 2TB Card. I now have a whopping 3TB of Super Fast internal Memory. BOO-YAH !!!! No more running out of memory at a crucial moment during game play. My only complaint is that there isn’t a higher internal memory card to buy on the market, but hey, I’m sure that won’t be for much longer. Cross your Fingers and hope Seagate hurries up and builds a 10TB internal Memory Card for us Gamers, because we will spend a ridiculous amount of spare change $$ to own one. I waited for it to be on sale then I bought 2 of them.

If you are looking for an extra card to put some games or movies on, this one is what you are looking for. With an extra two terabytes of space you can easily fit over 40 games on your Xbox. I love having access to my favortite titles and the ability to launch and play whenever I feel like it. Super fast loading time due to it being a (SSD) solid state drive instead of a regular hard drive. Thank you for creating such an amazing product. :)

Happy to be able to store more on my Series X. Device installed with no issue, plugged it in and everythi g set up on its own. Went into storage settings and offloaded a chink of the internal XBox storage to the expansion storage. Its not good to have SSDs filled to capacity so this will prolong the lofe of the internal storage.

The expansion card greatly increased the storage capacity on my xbox. It's small size makes it easy to store and runs well with stored games.

Transfer/download speeds are fast. Works for new triple AAA games. Now I have added 2 Terrobytes to my 1TB series X console + another 2 TB for older games I use an additional older seagate hard drive as well I can hook up via usb can make up to 5TB’s in total. Only problem is the other one can make these noises i do not like. This model makes no noise or lights and is very convenient and does it what its supposed to and fast without issues whatsoever. This is the second one I have bought. I moved the old 1TB drive to my second series S console which it badly needed the extra storage.

I picked this up on sale. I would not have bought it at full price. It is very easy to use, all you need to do is plug it into the slot on the back of the console and games will run directly from the card. Games sizes are huge now, so it is a must buy for gamers.
