Very easy to set up just plug in but make sure your Xbox is turned on.
Minus 1 star for not getting to use the full 2TB for the mystery data that takes it.

My only problem with the expansion card is it’s expensive. Microsoft needs more competition for the expansion card so we can see lower prices and higher storage capacity. You could always buy a external SSD and wait on the transfer speed from the internal to external SSD but that takes time. I don’t want to wait I want to play games.

Out of the box, the product is not configured to save game captures. It would need to be reformatted; although the product is sold for the Xbox Series X.

Has to be a cheaper solution in the works this can't cost more than the series s and almost more than the Xbox series x. And people wondering why games aren't selling well because people dont have space nor the money to afford external space.

This was purchased as a Christmas gift last year. Unfortunately, I bought it a couple of months before Christmas.
Around late January/Mid February the unit failed, and the return/replacement window had closed. So, I ended up with the horrible feeling of giving a gift that was a complete dud.

It was $400 for a 2tb 2 years ago, and I got it for 300 on sale. I bought it exactly 2 years ago and all of a sudden it stopped working and will not work even if I hard reset my xbox or remove and reinstert it into my xbox and I wish I never wasted my $300

Transfer speeds are incredibly fast, but thats pointless when it keeps giving me an error message when i try and play games off of the expansion storage.

The product is fine. The fact that these expensive tiny sticks are the only way to expand storage is the problem.

If you think you will be able to play games off of this storage expansion card, think again. This expansion card is just to transfer games in and out from the internal storage. To be clear, you can only play games that are in the Xbox Series X internal storage, NOT in this expansion card.

I only wish it was came in a bigger size. 4Tb or bigger would be awesome. Since Console only has 1 slot.
