Only Option for Large, Fast Storage

If you want two terabytes of fast storage for your Xbox Series console, this is your only option. While I would rather be able to use a standard NVMe drive for this, the expansion card is easy to install and does its job well. Would recommend if you're looking to store as many games as possible on your Xbox.

It does what I need it to do. I mean it’s a memory drive. You can’t really write anything good or bad about it.

Plug and play! Works perfectly! Just remember to tell your xbox to move games to the new expansion. There is no lag or load times between internal and the expansion.

This is a MUST have for the Series X! It is expensive, but your hard drive will fill up quickly with enhanced games that have to download to the hard drive to play instead of an external drive. It gave me tons of room for more games to play!

A bit pricy but worth the price since the 1tb card is 220 and double that would be 440 so getting a 2tb card for 400 saves you at least 40 bucks. Also it lets you play games directly off the drive unlike using a normal external hard drive which you have to transfer games back and forth which doesn’t take long but I would rather not do just to switch games I want to play. Only downside might be the having to purchase more than one since many of the newer games take up a lot of space to save.

    Weak Connection Error

The extra space is great. We had one issue where it said the connection to the drive was weak and could not load the game saved on the drive. We restarted the console and haven't had the issue since. I have read that this is an issue with these drives intermittently. Otherwise works ok.

Some would say it’s necessary for your Xbox and so would I, not going to add a long review but it obviously adds 2 TB of storage on your series x which works exactly as the eternal drive on series x get one you’ll thank me later

Got it as a surprise birthday present for my boyfriend so he didn't have to decide what game to get rid of to pay something new all the time. Super easy to set up and then I just waited for him to notice how much more room he had. It's been several months and still no issues!

If you are going to buy external storage for your Xbox just get the 2TB (or bigger when available) it’s worth it. Thing is super tiny by the way.

I purchased the 2tb ssd. The product was straightforward to setup. You can transfer data between the console’s memory and to this ssd with ease. The transfer speeds are fast. Will only fit into the Xbox Series X.

Downfall to this item is thay charge way too much for it but I’d rather run OEM parts and not worrying about compatibility issues

Got this as an xmas gift because my internal hard drive was filling up and I didn't want to have to deal with transferring stuff between my slower external drive and the SSD, and I hate deleting games only to have to download them again later for the new season or whatever. There's not a lot to it. Plug it into the dedicated slot in the back of the Series X and it's good to go. Transferring between the internal SSD and the expansion card is super fast, load times from the card are pretty quick but don't seem quite as speedy as the internal (but also not nearly as bad as from a USB drive). It does seem to be persnickety about the connection - a couple days after I installed it I was getting errors saying it couldn't be read properly, but after taking it out and popping back in (extra securely this time) it's been fine. If it wasn't a gift though it would be hard to justify the expense, when you can get 5+ times the storage in USB drives as long as you're willing to sacrifice speed and accept the hassle of transferring between drives.

I’m the type of person that keeps all their games downloaded so they are ready to play and this expansion card allows me to do just that! Yes it’s a bit on the expensive side but it is well worth it
