It's an SSD so read/write speeds are what you would expect. The only reason I gave it 3 stars is the price.. Up until recently the only option for expandable memory on the Series X was this card, so you either had to pony up, or delete and re-install games to make room on your console. At the end of the day, you're kind of hijacked into paying for it when you absolutely need room for your games. Now that western Digital makes a card, hopefully the prices will come down.

Pros: Easy installing process due to microsoft making this quite literally the only option if you want to move over xbox x or s games Cons: microsoft made this the only option.

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.good product but a little on the pricy side. if you doing retro games like pre series x games then this isn't really needed, you can put it on a converted nvme. you can do this for current games too but you have to transfer them between hard drives which is inconvenient but doable. but for me perosnally i like getting right into things and this allows for that
