This hard drive replaced a damaged one in a Gateway computer. Been in use for about a month now and no problems, does what you expect. Got the hard drive for a decent price as well.

Installed no problems although did call support for help transferring contents of old drive to new one. They were great, all went just fine.

Love Seagate drives as they give good performance for the price. I've used a LOT of different manufacturers over the years and Seagate has come out on top in my book the last few years.

Cloned a failing drive to this new seagate and was up and running with no disruption to operation. Placed in a desktop pc which operates as a point-of-sale. Worked perfectly.

I use exclusively Seagate drives in the computers I build and repair. Time and again they outlast and outperform the competition. They simply do what they are supposed to.

It had been a while since my last HDD purchase and Seagate won again. The real treat is the new software which makes copying/migrating old drive super simple. Once copied, I removed old drive and ran new drive, then upgraded Win7 to 10. Using old drive as 10 won't run many of my old programs. Also, "seagate disc wizard" runs in the background; I suppose to monitor drive conditions.

Installed, loaded my OS and files, compute. Works as t should. Read and write speed is good for a conventional drive. Very quiet running.

This was very easy to install into my Dell Inspiron 530, and I've had no problems with it at all. I'm very happy with it.
