I am a computer repair expert who purchases most of my products from BB. They're local and have allot of options. They should have more hard drive options, but a hard drive is a hard drive I guess. I haven't heard any complaints, so everything is good. :)

Purchased this hard drive when my son's crashed. So far it is a good hard drive and works well. Unfortunately we had to get rid of the operating system that was already on the PC and "upgrade" to Windows 8. It was a shame that we couldn't add Windows XP onto it.

The product worked great, was installed by the geek squad. It was available in a store close to my house so there was no need to shop on the internet. It gives me about 500 GB of hard drive space.

Needed a second hard drive for storage on my primary computer and when Best Buy placed this drive on sale, I leaped at the opportunity. They are easy to install and have always served me well.

This product is packaged well and come with everything you need if you are using it as a primary hd. You will need an extra cable if you are going to back up to it, say in case of a hs fail.

I used this drive to replace a broken one in an old iMac. Didn't need a lot of storage since this machine was just used for Internet and Email. It isn't the best price per GB but if you don't need the storage, might as well save some money.

I bought this to replace a dying OEM internal drive in an old computer. Works as expected. Spindle drives are being replaced by Sold State and hybrid drives, but I only needed a low cost replacement for an old computer.

I had been using WD drives for the first 10yrs of my business. Then the bottom fell out for WD Failed in less than 2 yrs. Now my money is on Seagate.

Works like a charm! Easy to install. Has some great software for backing up your drives as well as making it possible to transfer everything from your old drive to your new drive. I have had great success with seagate drives.

There isn't much to say about this device. It's a hard drive. For a desktop computer. It works as you would expect. I personally like Seagate, but other brands are good as well. Drive installs and works. Not much else to say.

My computer was acting strangely, so I brought it to Best Buy. The Geek Squad recommended this piece, installed it, and computer is working fine.

Was OK but the connection to the cable fit lose. Had to move it around a little to make it work. Should not have been that way. Two other hard drives I used with the same cable fit fine.

Not sure if they are worth the money. They sound pretty good using my iPod but the volume control does not work. It works with the iPad though.

The one issue I have is the packaging. I couldn't tell if the HD was the size I was looking for. I had to get a Sales Rep to look up the on their computer what the product code said.

Seagate speakes for itself, Bestbuy sales reps go out of their way to help the customer to find and make sure the product will work for their application.

I needed a replacement hard drive quickly. This happened to be the same size and speed of the drive I was replacing. I was able to reload the operating system on this hard drive with out any issues.

Good value for the bucks... Picked it up on the way home from a friends and had it installed and formatted and Windows 7 up and running shortly thereafter... Can't find anything negative about it!

i installed a fresh copy of windows with this storage. it was blazing fast. although i would recommend to get the 1TB storage as its only about $7 more. but still a good buy.

It worked out great i had a 160gb which was fine for a time but it was filled and need larger hard drive and this one was fast speed 7200 instead of 5400 so it working out great.

You can get a 1TB for $2 more. There are some applications where a 500 is needed but you can just waste space for few extra bucks.
