The hard drive in my Mac went out, and I need a computer for school. Installing a new hard drive was a much less expensive alternative to buying a new computer.

It's great hard drive, but the motherboard I was using with it had some trouble recognizing all 500GB of disk space, so I had to upgrade to a new motherboard.

hard drive is a good drive a little hard to partition and takes some work make it work on an older op system but all in all good value

It's a home use computer. This is all we needed to get back up and running. Had more problems with windows 7, getting drivers and back on-line.
