This is a good drive. It installed easily and runs quiet. Just what I needed for the basic machine it went in.

Glad to say the HDD came with all the hardware and wires needed to install this in the PC. Had to go to a remote location and before going I was glad to see the extra cables in the box. Installed in the PC, didn't need the cables after all, but it was good knowing they where i the box just in case. Installed Windows 7 on it and all when just as planned.

buy it fast while they last and to add 5 year warranty.I payed 99.00 less but at 129.00 this price I buy it too.

Seagate has always made exceptional hard drives. This purchase was made almost on a whim, as my hard disks have been slowing down. After seeing these drives, I checked online, and somehow BestBuy had managed to deliver a better price. This drive is far quieter than the old Seagate drive that it replaced. Same barracuda line, just larger, and obviously better engineered. I have yet to find a single thing wrong with the drive.

This is a fast, quiet drive with a 1/2 Terabyte storage capacity! The only "bump" during install was whether the jumper pin was in position to restrict the drive's speed. I couldn't tell for sure so I just removed the pin to ensure the drive operates at its max speed. Other than that the installation went smoothly and the transfer rates are blazing fast. Very happy with this new drive that I'm using as a secondary or backup drive.

Easy to install, just 4 screws. Can hardly hear it! Fast boot to the desktop. Nice!

Easy as PIE to install. This drive was out of the box and running in my computrer in less than 5 minutes. Runs great, have had no problems with it. Great product at a great price.

I have been using seagate drives for about 15 years now. I never ever have had a problem with one.The price has always been competitive, but I stick with seagate. Some say Western Digital is better . I've tried them and have not had great luck with their products.Stay on top Seagate we need you !

My harddrive went out and I searched for the most similar harddrive for my Dell PC. The specs on this were similar and the price range was good. This Harddrive is not used for anything more than to run the operating system. I have an external to keep important documents. Installed easy no major issues, and went through with uploading my software and applications.

This is really good buy for the current price at BEST BUY. Drive works with win XP but I had to use floppy drive to load sata drivers to start with windows install but other than that this drive is quick. been using this for over a week now and no problems. It comes with all required cables and even screws. Great buy go for it when its on sale.......

Easy installation with clear concise instructions. came with "clone" software to easily copy data from old drive to new one that was fast and accurate. didn't miss anything either.

I replaced the 80Gb "C" Drive in my Dell Box with this drive - applied the Ghost image wihout issue. The drive took about 15 minutes to install, 1 hour for the Ghost to complete, and was back up and finished. Drive is much faster than the Western Digital drive that was in the box from Dell, and really quiet. Would recommend highly!

Between Microsoft Windows XP's plug and play values, and SEAGATES installation and tools disc, I installed this drive on my computer in less than 15 minutes. Now I can do alot more with all of my digital photography and video. AND still have room to spare.
