I purchased this for my Grandson to have external storage for his x-box games. It works great and is easy to hook up.

I bought this for one main reason. 5Tb of disk storage and no AC adapter. Runs off USB power. Make bigger ones Seagate

This device and the manufacture (seagate) are great. There really is not better manufacture.

The Seagate external hard drive for Mac has easy set up and works great in the background.

Great for my laptop. Usually SOL when you run out of memory on one. Not any more I can download EVERY single picture as well as a backup.

Its not the drives fault but rather Mac High sierra. New file system does not work with this drive and its an issue with time machine. Even google drive and dropbox cant sync properly because in order to make this drive work with high sierra you need to rig it.

I’m a gamer, but I also do photography edits. Ended up losing a whole ton of data because it just stopped being able to sense its plug. Guess the usb port got loose, but I wouldn’t have the engineering capabilities to fix it myself and data recovery would have cost far more than it was worth. Had to replace the drive in ten months, probably best to pick one with less of a usb port issue.

Too bad it was not in stock...but the shipping was free...

it's the first time i have ordered something from bestbuy and it doesn't work and sadly i'm now in europe and when i tried to use the harddrive it didn't work i will go back to the states in 2 weeks to see what can be done.....mm

Fast drive, easy to use. I liked the red color option and it's a great price for the amount of storage available. Just wish it had a USB C port

There is so much space on this. Originally was looking into 2tb but noticed the 4 and 5 tb was less than double the cost. Went with the 5tb to save family photos.

Got it for ps4 pro, and now using on ps5, have had it for over 5 years still works perfectly biz!

I highly recommend if you want alot of storage and not have to plug in an big ugly AC adapter then pick this disk drive up

Hard drive worked well for a year or so, but it literally fell apart on me recently. Went to hook it up after moving rooms and the space you plug the connector into literally detached and fell *into* my hard drive itself. now I have 5TB of data, but can't access it.
