I needed a storage location for lots of video and photo files, and this 3 TB external drive was a good choice, especially with a higher transfer rate through the USB 3.0 connection.

Not sure if my installation issues were with the hard drive or my computer. I ended up having to follow some steps in an online video and erase data already on the hard drive before I could install it. I also had issues registering this product with their website initially not recognizing the serial number. But once I got it installed it has worked great!

I had a Seagate 1T external hard drive that lasted for years. When I decided to replace it, I researched the various drives on the market and chose another Seagate, one that had 2T. Best Buy had them in stock at the Wilkes-Barre store so I went to purchase it. I was surprised to find that there was a 3T Seagate external hard drive $20.00 off. That is the one I purchased. It was simple to set up and is easy to use.

Compared to other ones, it had the optimized value in terms of the memory size for the cost (TB/dollars) at the time of the purchase.

No problems so far using this drive for backing up a couple of PCs at home. I used Novastor software, so just using the drive for physical storage. Good value for the price.

I was looking for another external hard drive and this one was perfect. It has the extra benefit of saving my photos while I'm actually still on the trip.

Wanted a harddrive to backup my videos. Lot of bang for the buck. Fired right up. Hooked it into my USB3 port, and was very fast.. no problems so far.

I wanted a back-up system to cover the files and photographs I am accumulating, with the ability to customize the the back-up features. This item fit those requirements. Installation was far easier than I had experienced with past systems, which was a plus. Everything has been performing splendidly.

I am using it to copy/backup files from a 8 year old machine running Vista. USB 2.0. Very happy with it.

Love Seagate but Windows 10 did not recognize the drive, so with new computer came a new Seagate.

I bought this item to combine data from three other hard drives. Works we'll sleek designed. Sturdy base.

Great buy however the WiFi backup instructions aren't really helpful and I could never figure it out. Other than that great buy.

Great for backing up all your devices. Drive offers plenty of storage, even for serious photographers with thousands of images! It is a bit large in dimensions, but color is unobtrusive. Good value for dollars spent.
