This solved my backup needs. It runs everyday at noon and I have the comfort of knowing that if a file is lost, I have access to another copy.

I went to purchase this item because it was recommended by a family member. Heard good things about it. Also it's was a simple to work with.

I had no apparent problems in moving my backups & data from a smaller Seagate external disk to this external disk and continuing normal operations.

The storage capacity meets my needs for back-up of our main home desktop. I'm not using for continuous back-up, more on a weekly basis.

Just plug it in and it does all the work. I like knowing the I'm not relying on some cloud, that can be hacked to back up all my information.

Have had this product for about four months now and have had no issues with it. It is a bit bulky and not really meant for travel as it is boxy and requires power.

Another quality product from Seagate. USB 3.0 with plenty of storage space. I use at work for moving large files off of servers. Works Great.

Very easy to plug in and use. It is very easy to take anywhere or keep connected to pic for automatic backups. Hope it keeps me covered for backups. Time will tell.

great price for a backup device, plenty of room left for more data that will probably never be needed, but is there if needed.

Works like a champion and have it going 24/7 vertically on a wall as a network drive connected to router spins up when needed.

3TB for around $100 is a pretty good deal. Drive mounted and formatted quickly. The USB 3.0 speeds are plenty fast for backups, which is what I'm using it for.

Had to replace my Lacie backup, which failed after a short time. Not sure I am happy that Seagate bought out Lacie, but am hopeful this one will last.
