Nice basic hard drive

This Seagate drive is working perfectly for the task. The transfer speed with USB 3.0 is heads above USB 2.0. I have not tried to use the supplied software. I just plugged it in, let the OS find a driver (I plugged it into a Windows 7 and a Windows 10 laptop) and I was ready to transfer files. I have about 1 TB on it now and have had no problems, but only time will tell how reliable it is in the long term.
