This drive was an excellent value and has worked perfectly for us. We have used them attached to PCs, servers, and even QNAP NAS devices for backups without issue. Use a USB 3.0 port (typically indicated by a blue color on the port or a little "SS" imprint near the port) for optimal performance but will work just fine with USB 2.0 as well. Buy it, use it, love it. Enjoy!
