Windows 10 makes it very easy to use an external drive like this as a backup drive. The drive also includes some optional Seagate software which I assume is for helping back stuff up (I haven't tried it). Physically this was smaller than I expected, certainly no complaints about that. I like the fact that it is powered via the USB cable, no need for an extra power brick.

Worked but not usable after dropped
