works fine but do not drop it

Mine made a 2 to 2 1/2 foot drop from the couch to the hardwood floor, and was damaged. I was then unable to retrieve any images. I sent the drive to Seagate and they were able to recover the images, but at the cost of hundreds of dollars. I did replace it with the same hard drive due to the volume of storage and price, but bought a longer cord to prevent another fall.
