    If you don't enable the backup feature on initial install it is impossible to set it up later. I bought this because it was the only one Best Buy had that was mac friendly. Unfortunately I have been unable to transfer data to it because I didn't set up the back up option on I risk install I really wanted to offload documents and pictures from my MacBook to free up the cloud. It is currently just laying next to my computer not being used. Do yourself a favor take the time to set up back up function initially.

    So far it has worked well and it is fast. I have USB 2 connections and it is a USB 3 device but it is still much faster than my other USB 2 drives.
