I soooo needed this. One of my best purchases to date ! For only 50 dollars I was able to expand my storage ! Now I can download a ton of more games and a ton more custom content and mods for my sims games !:)

This hard drive was very easy to install and was a lifesaver. I didnt have much space in my pc to begin with.

Slow startup compared to SSD, So we used the SSD for the system. This was to provide extra storage.

Good value for the price. Used for replacement of bad NAS drives.

Seagates are the top brands for HDD. This one is no compromise super efficient storage drive. I only wish if they would also include SATA and DATA cables in the box. But for the value its not bad.

Yeah it's a good hard drive. Not much else to say about it. Barracude is good for indie games and the like since they're not too file-heavy. You'd probably still want an SSD for something like COD WZ or in the future for Halo Infinite.

Just works like it should. Good drive for storing data. Wouldn't recommend using it to install windows 10 or 11. But good for everything else.

My original 1Tb hard drive was fried in thunderstorm. Purchased this at Best Buy online and installed it without difficulties. I’m not very computer savvy. Took to Geek Squad for formatting and backup files installing. Definitely join Geek Squad tech support @$99/yr.

Needed to upgrade from a 500 gb hdd to this 2 tb hdd, to use with my new 1 tb ssd which I use as a boot drive. Removed the old hdd and placed this one in it's place. I did something myself instead of paying some computer guy an arm and a leg to do the same thing.

Used to build a spare computer and provide extra storage space for files. Would not use for heavy read/write speed applications in comparison to a SSD or NVME but is useful for file storage.

These Seagate hard drives are just made to last. I know SSD is the storage to have for your everyday use and immediate task, but you can't beet the capacity, price, and quality for archival storage with Seagate drives.

I use a number of Backup methods in my Studio. In addition to USB mounted Hard Drives, I have a Docking Station to plug in SATA Hard Drives. This provides my Second Copy of Work Files to be Stored Off Site. I find the 2TB the perfect size for one years work.

Exactly as expected, service was great and quick even during holiday, works like a charm and easy to install.

glad my local best buy had this in stock since I needed a hard drive fast to play Days Gone because I had no space left on my other drives. 2 Tb for $55 is a good deal. no complaints and this is my second 2TB Barracuda hard drive

So far so good this Seagate drive has been running good. I've purchased more than a few Seagate drives and only had 1 give me problems with a firmware corruption. Seagate will continue to get my money with their quality products

Just built a new gaming PC and didn’t want to spend so much on fast memory. I throw all my downloaded games into this HDD with no problems. I don’t expect it to be lightning fast, and i’m okay with that. it does it’s job. It’s a great price for 2tb too.

Great for storing games or files and the price isnt bad

Really reliable and pretty fast I have all my games stored and all my important files and stills runs as good as when I first bought it.
