Relatively fast and quiet compared to my primary NVME storage. Very satisfied. No installation problems but keep in mind you get the drive only and nothing else.

I use it for all my large games, and it work perfectly with good speed.

Have had an excellent time with this storage device. I was able to download my entire Steam library and then some, and still have a good chunk of space leftover.

I have 2 Drives in my computer C drive for the OS SSD... and D for Data Seagate 2TB Seagate Barracuda Compute and Desktop disk drives use shingled magnetic recording (SMR) technology now which can exhibit slow data write speeds. But Seagate documentation does not spell this out. It took 9 HR to copy 1.1TB to this drive! Then I put my old drive back in and the same copy setup took 2.5 Hr to copy the same 1.1TB All I can say is do your homework I will never buy a HDD with Shingled Magnetic Recording again! Here is a list I found of Seagate SMR drives. I've owned several of these drives over the years and always found them to be stable and reliable, with good speeds.

Very nice for a steam library drive, I put all my bigger games in this hhd when I’m not playing them much. Very good price for the amount of space this provides.

I've always had trust in Seagate, so I went with two of these when I wanted to upgrade my somewhat slower models. They were inexpensive, since the action is all in the SSD area. My current system wouldn't match well with a big SSD, so I stuck with these for now.

Needed to replace a failed internal hard drive. This installed as expected, and I was able to restore my system from an image file without any issue.

Priced right easy to install and running great so far!

Love my hard drive I got. It has served me well with decent read and write speeds and at a decent price. I would recommend it for some pc builds and have noticed where i work these are used.

I was glad to order this it was cheap and 2tb is plenty of storage would recommend it but sure your computer can fit it or you might have to custom fit it.

ros: Replaced a failing put still functional Seagate ST2000DM006 2TB drive used in Raid 1 with this exact same model. The failing drive was used for several years logging 24k hours of service. The other aged Seagate ST2000DM006 2TB drive in this Raid still checks good. These drives in my experience run quietly and dependably.
