My original 1Tb hard drive was fried in thunderstorm. Purchased this at Best Buy online and installed it without difficulties. I’m not very computer savvy. Took to Geek Squad for formatting and backup files installing. Definitely join Geek Squad tech support @$99/yr.

These Seagate hard drives are just made to last. I know SSD is the storage to have for your everyday use and immediate task, but you can't beet the capacity, price, and quality for archival storage with Seagate drives.

I would have to give it a 4 based on the loading speeds But I bought this for my 14 year old and he doesn’t see the difference I recommend this for extra doc storage or light gaming (Minecraft, Fortnite)

Needed to upgrade from a 500 gb hdd to this 2 tb hdd, to use with my new 1 tb ssd which I use as a boot drive. Removed the old hdd and placed this one in it's place. I did something myself instead of paying some computer guy an arm and a leg to do the same thing.

I use a number of Backup methods in my Studio. In addition to USB mounted Hard Drives, I have a Docking Station to plug in SATA Hard Drives. This provides my Second Copy of Work Files to be Stored Off Site. I find the 2TB the perfect size for one years work.

glad my local best buy had this in stock since I needed a hard drive fast to play Days Gone because I had no space left on my other drives. 2 Tb for $55 is a good deal. no complaints and this is my second 2TB Barracuda hard drive

So far so good this Seagate drive has been running good. I've purchased more than a few Seagate drives and only had 1 give me problems with a firmware corruption. Seagate will continue to get my money with their quality products

Very good hard drive is using for videos and putting files in. You can put games in this hard drive, but it’ll take longer than your nvme and ssd drives. But it’s a really good budget hard drive

Its good for a low end build. I upgraded after 2 months use.

Got for my sons gaming oc. Seem to work fine for him. Dont regret buying at all

Just built a new gaming PC and didn’t want to spend so much on fast memory. I throw all my downloaded games into this HDD with no problems. I don’t expect it to be lightning fast, and i’m okay with that. it does it’s job. It’s a great price for 2tb too.

Just needed some bulk storage, good speeds for the price and very easy to install.

PRO: - inexpensive (4x more capacity then a NVME for about same price) - fast 7200RPM - easy install CON: - barebone, just drive no SATA cable - only 2 year warranty Using it as a backup for NVME and storage for documents, pictures etc
