Nice size hard drive and a great price. I thought it was a pain to set up. I had a hard time setting it up. I didn't realize it needed to be formatted before use.

Man was i EXCITED when i ordered these. I bought them for some computers I had. The shipping was very fast and although I couldn't use them the customer service was good as well.

Bought this as a replacement for my 3TB Toshiba hard drive which I've had for 5 years now. After installing this drive, I would hear a scratching sound like the spinning disc inside is rubbing on each other every time I turn on the computer. It goes away after like 3 seconds but its loud, louder than my 5 year old Toshiba hard drive. My computer is complete silent and the only thing you can hear is this hard disk spinning. I understand HDD drive have spinning disc so can't expect it to be complete silent but wasn't expecting it to be louder than a 5 year old HDD. In the end, I had to return it and go with an external HD for backup.

Seagate are normally great hard drives.. Either i bought the wrong style.. or this one wasn't the best.. It had slow load times and my overall boot was horrible.. I ended up swapping to Western digital and all my problems went away.

For around $55-60 you get a 2Tb Hdd and it's pretty fast a 20gb transfer took about 30 seconds, an average 1gb transfer takes about 5 seconds so it's quicker than my last Hdd

I understand that HDD Have movning parts abd they dont always work. But i thought i would just let people know this is my second one within 2 days. First one no boot. Hard drive was ticking. My computer enthusiasts know if you hear a hard drive ticking its either dead or dying. Quickly. But the one that actaully works fine. Fingers crossed that nothing happens to it. If you purchase any HDD be prepared to take it back to the store and return or exchange it because i may not even boot. Or start making its own beat in your computer case.

Easy purchase of this in-store item needed immediately. Hard Drive works good. Met my expectation for a business grade computer application.

I chose to return this drive before I ended up installing it as I have been advised by several people in the IT world this was a mediocre drive for gaming at best. The technology behind how Seagate chose to store items on these particular hard drives made them incredibly slow to write but okay to read from. I would advise against this drive if one was going to be doing lots of installing and uninstalling, such as removing a game and installing a new one, etc.

This hard drive is absolutely amazing for the purchase price. I would recommend this hard drive for anyone who needs a little more space in their electronics.

Adding a hdd to my system. For a hdd it's not bad.

The Seagate Barracuda 2TB is one of the few 7200 rpm out there and a good value for an extra game drive. I own a couple and they have worked out great.

For some reason these products (hard drives) are no longer available in the actual store. And i find that annoying. I go to stores to see the products available in a "hands on" manner and make visual comparisons. But I guess that's an old fashioned expectation. So, I went to the store just to place an online order with the cashier.
