This thing was only 50 bucks and it provides quite a lot of storage so if you're looking for cheap storage, this is a good option

Nice drive that’s much faster than other HDDs and cheaper than most in it’s class. Bought this to replace and older failing 1tb drive. Nice improvement but nothing beats those Gen 4 m.2 drives.

Performs well used as secondary drive, easy straight forward install. You need to reformat in order to utilize/pc to recognize drive nothing hard at all.

drive had to be formatted first. Then cloned over my old 1tb drive with no problems. Has been running fast and perfectly. It was on sale at a price that could not be ignored. Best Buy was the best buy.

I bought this hard drive after the internal SSD that came with my desktop was mostly filled up. So far, it's been great for storing all of my pictures and videos and I've had no complaints with it! I would recommend looking up a video on how to install it though, it doesn't come with instructions.

This is a great drive to have considering the price. Used this mainly for games and additional files to back up onto. Works great, no problems, satisfied with the speed.

I bought this hard drive about 1 1/2 years ago. I use it for various 3D rendering programs. It has had no problems at all so far. I've had lots of luck with Seagate over the years and have stayed with the brand consistently. I always try to research specific drives first before purchasing, tho. I think that's what has helped me in avoiding problems.

This is a great hard drive for what you pay. Compared to WD this hard drive has faster revolution speeds and data transfer rates meaning that it will read and write faster! Overall great product, the only complaint I have is that you can hear the disk slightly but definitely a lot quieter then other brands I have tried. If you have a problem with hearing the disk slightly then I would recommend going with an NVMe or SSD.

I was forced to load my OS on this before cloning it to my SSD, but even so my games and OS load up quite fast on it. It’s a great deal and easily installed.

I use this as a backup drive for my SSD main drive. It's faster than my previous Seagate Barracuda which died after 5+ years of continuous use, and it's priced right.

This HDD would serve well for any disc drive, but as a backup drive you really can't go wrong with the Seagate- Barracuda. It's fast, responsive, and reliable. Priced right as well.
