I have always gotten dependable service with Seagate hard drives. Over a period of 8 years and building desktop PCs for my family here and in Alabama out of more than 12 drives purchased during that 8 years I only had issues with 2. Seagate replaced them under warranty in short order. Other brands ran 30% or higher failures. 2 problem drives out of more than 12 in 8 years speaks volumes about the quality and dependability of their drives. We have 4 home computers all with 2 or more hard drives in them now running Windows OSs from Windows 10 back to a couple of legacy build PCs running Windows 95 OSR 2.5, Windows 98 SE, Windows XP and Windows 7. All are running Seagate drives. 2 drives each in the Windows 95 and 98 PCs and 3 each in the XP and Win7 PCs. My Windows 10 Pro is running 4 Seagate drives. A 2GB system and 3 X 4GB program/game drives. I will continue using Seagate HDs until they stop making them or their quality drops below my standards. No sign of that happening any time soon.

Seems to do it job fine, enjoyed the extra space, pretty simple to install. Instructions were not great. Must provide your own screws.

Great storage amount for the price. Also easy to install and set up. A great place to storage large games or other files in general. Might pick up a second one.

I just got tired of short write life's of SSDs so I went back to a regular hard drive for my computer. With 256 megabytes of cache buffer and a 7200 RPM drive this is just about as fast as a SSD. Seagate also has advanced data writing technology's this was a great buy for the money and shipping was also very fast I highly recommend this hard drive. I did a clean install and I had no problems.

This is a cheap hard drive. I ordered here instead of other sites because of the free express shipping. Definitely a must buy if building your own PC. Worth it.

A very good harddrive but doesnt come with cords so you would have to go back and get a sata 3 cable to use on a gaming pc like i have to

One of the best hard drives out there, 2tb for only $55 is a great deal. Sucks that is doesn’t come with a sata cable so you’d have to buy one if you do not have one

Good internal hard drive at a great price. Currently being used as a backup drive in a hard drive enclosure. Plenty of space to store my digital media library.

This is the best time to buy this product because of the price dropped and I still can get decent values and quality of an excellent product like this Seagate hard drive. 2 TB capacity is powerful enough for me to manage the disk space with my desktop. I am consider to buy a few of this product so that tons of disk space would be created among my personal and professional work zone. The best with these massive disk space will make me happy because I saved a lot of photos and videos in my computer systems. Thanks to Seagate for this product.

Performs exactly as advertised with the 7200 rpm. Using it to store recordings from a FIOS DVR and it's working perfectly!

not the fastest but i use it as a game drive for steam and others etc. really was a freat deal i got it on sale and its a good amount of storage. my main drive is an nvme 4.0.

I was looking on Amazon when I saw this product. I decided to look on Best Buy website to price compare. Although Amazon is known for low prices, the Best Buy price was the same. My local store had this in stock. I ordered online, then picked up the product at my local store. I was pleased with the sale, the process, and the interaction with the Best Buy staff. My local store is Greensburg, PA. I have used and liked this store for years. I am very pleased with the product as well as with Best Buy.

Love this 2TB Barracuda. I had to replace another hardrive and this is more than enough to hold all of my information. Have no issues.
