Great price for the amount of space. Works perfectly as of the first month of use. There is a moderate noise when the drive is starting, but it goes away after the drive is active like most HDDs.

ordered this on-line. came in UPS 1 week later. installed -n- running with-in 30 minutes. works great!

Also loved seagate mechanicals. They have always lasted 7+ yrs everytime.

This hard-drive does the bare minimum job. It works. Its cheap, but their is no way to mount it in my computer. So it is loose i don't like that. When i move i can hear it slide around and it scares me it will break something else. But the memory itself is a brick. I almost gave it 4 stars because its a lot of memorie for cheap but how much does a mounting bracket cost they should always come with their own.

If you need an hdd from a reliable brand this is your best shot. My only complaint is that it's loud, and that's because it's an hdd.

You could hear the hard drive revs when you access it, imagine a spooling turbo. No biggie, it’s a mechanical hard drive.

I purchased it to backup my 5TB data. I installed it on my Linux server. There was no issue while copying all data to it, and it has been working nicely.

Its just what I need. Used in a dock with other drives. It is a bit noisy but not annoying.

It is good drive for storage purpose not for booting now that you have a M.2 option

These just work. Just put 3 of these in a Qnap DAS in Raid 5.getting decent speed for photo editing. Got it on sale, so bonus points for that
