    Product is being used to store data and works good for that purpose. It is not a fast drive but works good for the intended purpose.

    This what was actually a great item for the price. I got it to store the extra games that got.

    The drive developed a loud clicking noise about 8 months after the purchase. I sent a video of the problem to Seagate and based on that they determined that the drive was faulty and that it can go down any minute. They organized a replacement. They do not offer data recovery as part of the Warranty. It took me two days to back up the drive constantly praying that it does not crap out before I finish. Lucky me it did not. Now they will send me another one - refurbished most probably but the warranty does not restart. I purchased about 20 hard drives in the last 20 years this is the 2nd one that died on me. Coincidentally the other one was also a Seagate drive.
