I have not brought it to any trip but this one works great. It is compatible with USB 3.0 and below, haven't tried on USB 3.1. I also bought Insignia™ - Hard Shell Case, just in case I need mobility and note that the case is also cheap.

It does it’s job. I needed extra space to store some private documents. I don’t have any issues safely removing this hardware and it’s pretty simple to use.

I have several of this external hard drives and they work great, good speed and perfect item to save your personal photos or documents, I used too to save some old movies.

A good and compact backup drive that can travel with you. I have several Seagate external drives for different users and they've been consistently good backup drives.

The seagate is my second large storage device. Although my last one had less storage space, it cost more and ultimately began to lose files. I was able to transition to my Seagate device with ease. The size of the unit makes it easy for me transport anywhere.

Most external drives nowadays require additional software to backup for security purposes. But I really wanted a storage device that resembles the simple capabilities of the past. This is it! Just drag and drop, no software required.

I bought this one for my sister to backup her photos. She has no problem using it, just plug in and use.

Great Hard drive so far no issues. I have been using it as an expansion to an Xbox 360. I have had the drive for at least a month. USB 3.0 is a lot faster than my USB 2.0 drive but this is only if your port supports USB 3.0. Current Xbox does not support it.

I had to reformat it to use for my Macbook but the instructions were easy to follow. So far no complaints with this hard drive. Allows me to separate my work easily. Would buy again.

I got this to replace an external drive that had recently crashed. The small form factor saves room on my desk and the large capacity grants me much more room for backups and media collection.

A decent external HD. I use a SSD for primary HD, but it filled up and needed more HD space. This one will be used for storage, and some games... to give the SSD some space. It's pretty fast using the USB 3.0 on this gaming computer that was built buy myself. Speed is decent, nothing like SSD. for the price, i could not pass it up.

I bought this case so that I could help a couple of friends transfer data from their computers HDD's to DVD's (their PC motherboard went bad). It is easy to use, but I do not like having to remove the 2 screws everytime I want to put a HDD in it.

Bought this harddrive to connect to our Xbox One. Works perfectly and would highly recommend it to others at this price! Great Deal

Double check before buying - I have one of these already for my PC, and am happy with it. I searched in the search bar for a MAC compatible one, and this one showed, up, I didn't double check and as it arrived, I saw that it wasn't MAC compatible on the box. So, I ended up having to return it. Always good to double check, and it's easy to do, I was just relying on the search too much.

No instructions for Windows 10 but was able to highlight what I wanted and download entire C drive in about 2 hours. Worked as it is supposed to
