It was for my daughter's laptop & her files needed to be transferred to this external hard drive because Dell was going to put everything back to factory setting as then all her files would've been lost. Great price for a 1 terabyte.

I am an IT student and that means loading a lot of programs, including operating systems into virtualbox and it is fast and easy. I am very happy at this point with the product.

This is the backup drive for my laptop after my laptop had harddrive failure, so now I make two extra back-ups for my videos and photos. Never lose again.

I'm a newbie to these types of things but hey this hard drive works and it hasn't crashed at all. It doesn't get hot or anything so I'm enjoying it. A terabyte is a lot for me so I'm happy with that size.

Compact size of device allows me to keep a backup copy of my computer in my safety deposit box.. Now I have peace of mind that no matter what happens (blue screen, theft, etc.) I will not lose my important documentsand photos!

Just simply a good hard drive. We have dozens of hard drives and this one is just as good an any of the others... Maybe in someways better because it works well with Mac..

This hard drive has worked well since I bought it in February. No problems at all and I wouldn't expect any at this point.

works great and easy to use! just plug it in and its good to go. My sons both use these for xbox one games. They never seem to have enough storage, but this works perfectly!

we purchased this device for work. Which is a medical organization. Stores lots of data and it's easily transferable between are many sites. We rely on this data to treat our patients and so far it has worked great. 50 words

We have had issues with loosing data and things like photos in the past due to computer problems and virus problems. This product gives us peace of mind to down load our important stuff to another source......priceless :-)

I purchased this to back up my Windows 8.1 HP laptop and it worked perfectly. It's quick and so simple to use. All you have to do is plug it in and you're ready to go. No installation was needed.

The price was fair and the unit is working fine. I had purchased the Seagate 1TB external portable hard drive for my grandson for gaming purposes. He seems to be happy with the unit so far.

After deleting a Microsoft excel file by accident, it was suggested that I get an external backup drive. This was a good price for the amount of storage it has.

Whats not to love about this 1TB Seagate Expansion? Its black color, flat surface easily transfers without being plugged into an external power source other than your laptop. A must buy at the right price.
