    I bought this in order to back up files. It does exactly what I want it to do. It's plug in play so no setup is needed. I'm not using it for this but I believe it can also serve as external storage for game consoles (Playstation and Xbox). Good quality and would definitely recommend.

    The drive is not formatted for Mac so you have to switch it to FAT32 if you want to use it for mac and PC. Transfer speed is average but for the storage great price. Was on sale when i bought it.
