Seagate is one of the best!

I've had others and they didn't last very long. My last Seagate hard drive lasted 7-8 years without any issues and I hope this one does the same. I am disappointed in their warranties now though; used to be 7 years now it's 1 year; that's a big difference.

I got this to use with the DVR on my TV.

What I expected, almost.

This was for my secondary desktop. Everything was exactly what was expecting except for the unusually short USB cable. It would work great for a laptop or tablet, but for a desktop you essentially have to have another cable and let the external hard drive rest on top of the CPU housing. If I were to recommend a change, I would have included two connectors (one long and one short) for both options.

Never Go Wrong w/Seagate

I have to say you can never go wrong with Seagate products they are definitely reliable and efficient.
