    This is my second one of these drives, I store my footage for past media projects. It's great, though I would only use it for long term storage/media playback as it isn't fast enough to edit off of. Stick to SSDs for working drives

    I got this drive yesterday. Warranty is 14 months for this,so I lucked out. Surface test showed no error. I am happy with this drive so far.

    Quiet, efficient, replaced a hodge podge of old 8TB drives that I had over the years. Works well as part of a basic PLEX setup. No brainer to add to Windows via USB.

    Does its job. But it makes whirrs and makes too much noise compared to a WD Easydrive that I also own. While it's whirring up, explorer also freezes until it finishes loading (even when I'm not trying to open the drive). It's cheaper than that model, so I guess that's the tradeoff

    My husband installed this last Friday for my mother. It turned on and all and then it just completely stopped working it’s making a weird sound and the computer won’t recognize the item.

    UPS informs me they have an empty box. I online chatted with BB and was told basically the same thing--we don't have the item you paid for. Attempting to get my account credited. Not nearly as easy as the buying experience. Wonder why?
