Perfection for removing cloud storage
Instant win. I've been waiting to pull the plug on cloud storage and this was my solution for the storage. I already have a great computer that's older but runs fine. I plug this in, installed the drivers already on the device and registered the warranty. Easy, quite, and fast. Now I said goodbye to worrying about my storage needs and save ~$40/month on cloud storage.

Perfection
I had this for about 3-4 months and I have used almost everyday. I backed up $1400 data DVDs without any glitch, under a Mac environment. Works flawlessly. Takes a little time to mount and it can be a little noisy sometimes, but that comes with the territory for such a big hdd. i remember the good old ST-225 and we have come a very long way. I gor this because it is the best for the money at thia time.

Working great
Bought two of these. One came with a faulty cable that made me think the hardrive was broke. But there's no way both were malfunctioning so I just used the working cable from the other one. Now both drives are working perfectly with all that space. Still giving 5 stars because the cable issue wasn't a big deal once I figured that was the problem.
