Incredible value for the amount of storage
Quiet and fast. Shucked it into my PC 290/290MB/sec notably quieter seek and idle than my HGST 10TB and 12TB. Time will tell if it's reliable both my HGST drives are over 5 years old and still in operation. If shucking, obviously need to disable power pin 3 with adapter, kapton tape, etc. Also recommend using Hard Disk Sentinel or hdparm to disable APM otherwise heads will park themselves to death constantly loading\unloading.

Decent storage at an affordable price.
The 28TB external expansion hard drive has quite a small footprint, easy to connect and has plenty of storage capacity at an affordable price.

Perfection
I had this for about 3-4 months and I have used almost everyday. I backed up $1400 data DVDs without any glitch, under a Mac environment. Works flawlessly. Takes a little time to mount and it can be a little noisy sometimes, but that comes with the territory for such a big hdd. i remember the good old ST-225 and we have come a very long way. I gor this because it is the best for the money at thia time.
