This drive was a great value and has been a small and steady workhorse for me. The only thing I dislike is it occasionally makes "startup sounds" which I liken to a whoosh from Star Trek or similar. But the drive is otherwise cool and quiet and has been reliable. Recommended.

Seagate field drive

Has the capacity necessary to do a serious professional field trip to obtain backgrounds and action shots as well as ambient takes that require longer time-on-target. Have had GREAT luck in the last few years with the Seagate products.

It has a very good response rate in pulling up old data and have had no issues with this after owning it for more than a year. Just make sure to hit the eject media when disconnecting it from your PC.
