Why doesn’t this work with a Playstation 5?

I bought this Playstation Seagate HD with the intention to put my save files from my Playstation 5 on it only to come to find out it doesn’t serve that purpose. I’m very disappointed that this is what I have to deal with from product interactions. I guess it would be a good HD if it worked as I thought it would.

Must Have for PS4 owners

Best alternative would be SSD internal drive but it costs more to do that.

If using to transfer data or store data for upgrade of PS4 HD, make sure to research how to back up your data before configuring the external HD
