Its a great product does exactly what it says but if you can afford the $150 version get it

Adds loads of storage for a system that really needs it

They can have all the certifications they want. Yhe reality is that the only drives thr Series X/S will let you run Series X/S games off of is either internal storage or one of the expensive little expansion cards (which contains a NVMe SSD drive). This drive still makes you move Series X/S games to internal storage. It’s really false advertising. If that’s what you’re buying it for, just put the money towards the real expansion instead.

Works great until one day you come home and all of your games uninstall. Barely had it for a year and I came home to the majority of my games uninstalled.

Do not buy this product if you have an x or s. It is useless. You cannot play games past 2022. Its an absolute waste of money and complete garbage. The fact that this dinosaur of a product is still sold and marketed with the new Xboxes is an absolute joke.

Lasted only 17 months, I tried to use Seagate tools from Seagate but even their own tool couldn't repair bad sector and neither Windows native Disk management could't repair it. The drive is spinning but unable to read anything. The drive was never moved and pretty much on the same spot next to Xbox entire time. I'm not sure if my expectations are too high and this is a new norm nowadays but personally I would expect that it would last at least 2 years at minimum. This was the last time I bought such a drive. The price is good but I'm not willing to keep buying every year new drive. I will go with SSD based only from now on.

The external chip is the only thing compatable with this console for the newer games. Dont get if you tryna play games like mw2 ow2 etc.. only works if it is internal storage not seagate or wd.

This is the second one I’ve had. It has randomly stopped working AGAIN. It’s been about 7 months since it was replaced. The last one only lasted about 5-6 months. Seagate assured me a one year warranty on the second one also, but when I called, told me my warranty has expired. Horrible customer service with cheap products. I’ll never purchase another seagate product and I’ll deter everyone I know away from their products.

Ordered for my grandson who’s parents are missionaries in Ghana. It is on the way to Ghana. He should have it in about two weeks. I know he will be happy since he picked it out.

Wasn’t able to play series x/s games with this device. Only works with xbox one and 360 games.

Doesn’t work for Xbox 1. Plugged in and it doesn’t store games.

They are excellent and efficient thank you all have a blessed Christmas

My son wanted this so he had more memory on his Xbox. However is unable to download any new games to this device
