It would be better if the games could be played off of it but i have to transfer to internal storage to be able to play

It has plenty of space for my son . I would definitely recommend to friends and family.

After 6 months of using this, it now no longer is recognized by the Xbox series S console. It just makes a steady beeping noise as if it’s trying to boot up. I have several HHDs that have lasted me years. Granted, I didn’t have them constantly plugged into a console and used for gaming, but if this wasn’t capable of this, then they shouldn’t market it as such.

Does what it’s supposed to. Added it to a Christmas stocking after gifting an xbox.

6 months later it breaks. Stop exchanging info with the xbox. Dont waste your money.

Useless other than for storage. Can’t play games saved on drive.

Looks cool easy to set up but pointless. You can store games on it but you can’t play the games that are stored on this.

Does not work with next gen xbox games at all. lets you download them but as soon as you try and play them it doesn't let you. if your looking for storage for your next gen xbox you will need the storage card.

Some games won’t download and im not sure why this occurs.

I received a 2TB EXTERNAL SEAGATE GAME DRIVE WITH GREEN LED included in a dual pack kit with the 1TB Expansion card. The EXTERNAL 2TB drive does really come in handy for just storing games to transfer back to a SSD later on or to play older Xbox one games and earlier that used HDD for their games. YOU CANT PLAY SERIES X/S games off this drive, just store. But the real beauty is the transfer speeds from either internal SSD, a SSD EXPANSION CARD, or from this HDD to either of the SSD. Don’t delete your games anymore and have to sit through that HOUR PLUS of having to reinstall or download again. You can literally transfer a good 100 GB in a matter of 15 vs a good hour or more. It’s a EXTREMELY HANDY DEVICE TO HAVE AROUND…..along with a few SSD expansion cards. I got lucky and found the dual pack kits at a steal of a price. So I got lucky and scored a few extra expansion cards and a couple of these HDD. Very glad to have it and the expansions. I will NOT be deleting games again with a good 7TB of SSD and 6TB of HDD!

Product is great. Was supposed to have before Christmas then after was charged for it. They lost it. Thanks for the manager at the Avon, Ohio store that went above and beyond to make this right

Unfortunately it's the truth. Will be contacting segate for a replacement drive, but all my data on my drive is gone.

Bought this for my son for Christmas for his xbox. It worked for two weeks and stroked out....took it back and bought something better. Don't waste your time spend a little more and get what you pay for.

Only because the sales representative didn’t know anything about it and told me it was no different than the one I originally grabbed also way over priced.

Third one i bought in 2 and a half years justs seem to break out of no where. This version lasted the shortest only 1 and half months.
