Customers are saying

Customers enjoy the ample storage space and ease of use that the Game Drive for Xbox provides. Many appreciate its overall performance, reasonable price, and fast transfer speeds. While some users have noted compatibility issues and slightly slower load times, the drive's design, compact size, and appealing LED lighting are generally well-received.

This product defeats the purpose of actually having extra storage. Even after downloading a game to the external storage, Xbox won’t let you play the game off it, you have to transfer the game to your Xbox’s internal storage to play the game. Frustrating.

Good to play old games but if you try to play next-gen games you have to have storage on your console and transfer it to your console takes like two hours to switch out games but you can play Xbox one,360,and original Xbox games no problem

This drive is absolutely garbage. The case is definitely a usb 3.1 speed but the drive inside is once again a 5400rpm 2.5 not a solid state drive or nvme nand drive etc. They could have at least used a 7200rpm drive for better read/write speeds installs larger than 25GB will take close to an hour its laughable that they actually recommend this for use with a xbox series console right on the box. Just avoid any external microsoft/xbox branded external storage that isn't a solid state. Oh and if the drive sits idle for too long the reader blades start clicking mad crazy and becomes unresponsive for several minutes until you attempt to run a file stored on the drive. The green led light and case will also experience their own set of problems from the idling.

Dont waste your time. I ordered 1 a few days ago and when it arrived, the box looked as though it’d been squeezed and the hard drive wouldn’t sync with my Series X. Sent it back for a refund and ordered another. The second one arrived and the actual Seagate box had a hole bigger than a quarter in it. And when i plugged it in, the hard drive sputtered for a few seconds and died. Ridiculous

After 6 months of using this, it now no longer is recognized by the Xbox series S console. It just makes a steady beeping noise as if it’s trying to boot up. I have several HHDs that have lasted me years. Granted, I didn’t have them constantly plugged into a console and used for gaming, but if this wasn’t capable of this, then they shouldn’t market it as such.
